Here at Hempriggs House we pride ourselves on the quality of our food. We only use the freshest ingredients from trusted local suppliers. We make everything as fresh as possible including baking our own bread and only using homemade produce.
We do not believe in using "convenience" foods but prefer to make our own no matter what it is. We give the residents a varied but nutritionally filling menu daily.
We serve a 3 course lunch EVERY day where we always have a bowl of hearty fresh soup with a roast on Sundays and fresh local fish every Friday. High Tea is served around 5pm where the residents also get some home baking. All menu's are planned to include all the major food groups and are nutritionally balanced. We check on a regular basis with the Food Standards Agency to ensure we are providing the residents with all the nutrition they need. The Residents also get freshly baked scones or Pancakes daily for their morning tea at 10am.
If any of our residents have special dietary needs then we gladly cater for them.
We have a large garden where we grow our own vegetables to ensure freshness and quality.
